Innovation and Technology
Capacity Building
We support FIs in the identification and selection of cutting-edge technologies to provide gender-responsive and sustainable financing.
We organize hackathons and utilize sandbox technology to find best solutions that adopt new and ‘alternative’ models using sources of data that give insight into the financial lives and capacity of the women-owned businesses. We connect the winner of the solution with our partner FIs and support them to pilot test the program.
We provide tailored knowledge solutions to our partners to enhance their capacity in delivering inclusive financial services.
We equip our partner FIs with technology, tools and trainings to enable their digital transformation. We also provide trainings, webinars, and one-on-one consultations to women entrepreneurs on business planning, debt management, and e-commerce.
Funding Opportunities
We explore funding and co-financing opportunities to support FIs in increasing their lending to women and women's businesses.

We look at all funding modalities, including blended finance and also establish linkages to other programs and initiatives for financial inclusion of women.
Sustainable Finance
We encourage sustainable finance in our partner FI's lending and investments.

We advise and support FIs in 'greening their portfolios', provide opportunities to pilot innovative financing solutions with a sustainable and gender focus, build capacity through webinars and toolkits, and raise awareness on ADB’s work supporting sustainable finance.
