Women-Owned Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Fiji. This publication shares insights on how private sector financial institutions in Fiji can help women who own micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to access credit, estimating unmet demand at US$111 million.
To harness this opportunity, financial institutions can collect and use sex-disaggregated data to drive business decisions. They can also diversify into sectors where many businesses owned by women operate. In addition, they can partner with like-minded entities to support capacity building for women in digital literacy, financial literacy, and business and financial management.
[Upcoming] Pakistan Green Finance. This study aims to uncover constraints and opportunities for green finance to women and women-led micro, small and medium sized enterprises (WMSMEs) in Pakistan and formulate recommendations for expanding green finance to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs,) particularly WMSMEs. To understand the obstacles and potential for green financing for women-owned small and medium-sized businesses in Pakistan, review of existing literature was supplemented with consultations from 15 financial institutions and survey respondents comprising of almost 100 women and women entrepreneurs as ecosystem stakeholders.
